Our boutique hotel in Vienna's 7th district

In Vienna's 7th district, on Lindengasse, stands a former residential building. Today, it is the HENRI. Inside, the residential worlds of 20th-century Vienna unfold – bourgeois elegance entwined with Viennese modernism. Reduced, clear, with a knowing smile. You are not checking into a hotel. You are arriving at a house that feels like Vienna.

And outside? The Ringstrasse is a leisurely stroll away; the city centre a tram or U-Bahn ride away. All around you, Neubau pulses with life – galleries nestled beside independent boutiques, restaurants spanning from Viennese classics to plant-based cuisine, bars that carry you through the night. Spittelberg is on your doorstep, the Museumsquartier moments away, Mariahilfer Straße mere steps.

Food and drink
at HENRI

The hotel kitchen is the heart of the house. In the morning, the aroma of coffee fills the air; later, the scent of freshly prepared snacks. Guests linger together, chatting, reading, listening to the gentle clink of cups. A Viennese Melange always hits the spot – whether to start your day or as a moment's respite.

Just beyond lies the living lounge. A space that feels like a living room in the centre of the city. Reception, bar, in-house kitchen, the intimate Reiterstüberl – everything flows together seamlessly, yet remains utterly relaxed. A refuge from Vienna's everyday hustle, available to you around the clock.

Residents only! Exclusively for HENRI guests. And you can sense it immediately: peaceful, familiar, a bit like being among friends.

What to experience in Vienna?

Vienna is a city made for arriving in – relaxed, culturally rich, simultaneously quiet and vibrant. Between grand boulevards, tucked-away courtyards and the aroma of coffee houses, the city constantly reinvents itself. There is much to see and even more to discover.

Of course, the classics are essential: St. Stephen's Cathedral, Hofburg Palace, the Ringstrasse, the Prater and Belvedere Palace. And the winding lanes of the old city center, the expansive squares and the Danube islands where you can breathe freely. But Vienna offers far more than postcard moments.

Culture? Around every corner. The State Opera House. The Burgtheater. The museums clustered around the MQ. The Albertina, the Secession and intimate theaters are tucked just around the bend. And then there is the music – from grand classical performances to intimate jazz bars you stumble upon by chance.

Whether the sun graces the city or Vienna's mood shifts with the weather: the city invites you to wander, to linger, to savor unexpected moments. A few steps in any direction, and you'll find something that lingers with you long after.

Address and contact

Arrival at
HENRI Hotel Vienna

HENRI Hotel Vienna is centrally situated in the 7th district, easily reached by public transport and just a short walk from the Museumsquartier and Mariahilfer Straße shopping district.

By train

Within walking distance, you'll find U3 Neubaugasse, U3 and U2 Volkstheater, bus 13A and tram 49. Its central location makes HENRI Vienna the ideal base for exploring the city's countless attractions.

By plane

From Vienna Airport (22 km), a taxi journey takes approximately 30 minutes.

Alternatively, take the faster CAT (City Airport Train) or S-Bahn line S7 to "Wien Mitte". From there, board the U3 underground at "Landstraße" station towards Ottakring and alight at Neubaugasse. The hotel is just 450 metres away – a total journey of around 30 to 45 minutes.

By car

Head for the 7th district – creative Vienna awaits. Once you reach Mariahilfer Straße, the streets narrow and urban energy builds. From there, it's a quick turn onto Lindengasse 12. HENRI sits quietly between boutiques, cafés and period apartment buildings – discreetly tucked away, yet right at the heart of things.

Parking is available in our garage for €24 per night. Spaces are limited and cannot be pre-booked, but we're happy to allocate one upon arrival, subject to availability. Please note: the car park is at ground level, and hotel access involves a few steps – not barrier-free.
