The HENRI Hotel Cuxhaven is located directly in the old fishing harbour at Präsident-Herwig-Straße 27 - right in the middle of the maritime heart of the city, within walking distance of the beach, harbour and city centre.

By train

Cuxhaven is easily accessible by train via Hamburg. The hotel can be reached on foot or by taxi from Cuxhaven main station in just a few minutes.

By car

Take the A27 towards Cuxhaven, take the Cuxhaven-Mitte exit and follow the signs to Alter Fischereihafen.

Information on fees and use of the beach

The following regulations apply to overnight guests in Cuxhaven:

Visitor’s tax (tourist tax): this is charged separately and paid by the accommodation provider to the city. It includes free access to managed beaches during your stay (visitor’s card).
Overnight accommodation tax (bed tax): is charged additionally, except for business-related stays with appropriate proof.
No additional beach entry fee for overnight guests with a guest card.

Business travellers (corporate): Upon presentation of proof of employment or a business trip, the visitor’s tax and accommodation tax are waived. In this case, no guest card is issued; use of the beach is only possible upon payment of a separate beach entry fee (payable directly at the beach).
