Travelling back in time
to the seventies

At HENRI Düsseldorf, your city break becomes a journey through time – back to the late 1960s and 70s. Welcome to the age of flower power and freedom. Colour meets funky flair in an office building with a knowing wink. Originally designed in 1976 as an insurance headquarters, now reimagined: HENRI Hotel Düsseldorf surprises with 79 vibrant studios, warm timber, cheerful yellow tiles and authentic décor from days gone by. You're based in the heart of Pempelfort – steps from the old town and main railway station. Outside, the Rhine metropolis pulses with energy. Inside, the spirit of graphic and design icons like Saul Bass, Charles Eames and Paul Rand lives on. Discover it for yourself. Come and visit. Stay a while.

HENRI Highlights in Düsseldorf

The office days are long gone at HENRI Düsseldorf! Whilst the former office building also suits business travellers perfectly, we prefer it as a hotel. What remains is the unmistakable charm of the 60s and 70s. Midcentury aesthetics run through every design element, offering visual surprises at every turn. Funky. Colourful. Sisal wallpaper. Anything but ordinary. Edgy. Retro. American. Vintage. A bit like visiting a good friend's place.

Experience Düsseldorf

A shopping expedition along the legendary Königsallee, an adventure into "Little Tokyo," or the vibrant carnival season – there's so much to uncover in Düsseldorf. And because the Rhinelanders are such warm hosts, something unexpected usually happens – something you'll be recounting to friends back home for years to come: "You won't believe what happened to me in Düsseldorf..."
