HENRI Hotel Kitzbühel - Boutique Hotel at Kitzbühel railway station

HENRI Kitzbühel - centrally located on the Kitzbüheler Ache

The HENRI Country House Kitzbühel is the boutique hotel in Kitzbühel for those who don't want to choose between character and comfort. Skier or flâneur? Powder day or panoramic coffee? At the HENRI you don't have to choose. Outside, the Streif, fresh mountain air and the quiet crackle of a town that knows what it is. Inside, a hotel that is home to 150 years of Tyrolean hospitality - centrally located on the Kitzbüheler Ache riverside promenade, 50 metres from the train station and within walking distance of the cable cars.

Three parts of the building, three eras, one soul. Belle Époque meets midcentury, meets alpine present. All with the typical HENRI wink and the feeling of not being in a hotel, but of having arrived.

The Streif awaits outside. Inside, HENRI awaits.

Sometimes a video says more than a thousand words ... For example, how the first snow lays the Kitzbühel Alps in silence. Or how the light falls through the high windows of Haus Kaiser in the late afternoon and makes the antiques glow in warm gold. We grabbed the camera – from the peaks around the Hahnenkamm to the Klausner-Stube – and captured a piece of Kitzbühel for you.

What to experience in Kitzbühel?

Kitzbühel is more than just a ski resort: it is a way of life. In winter, 233 kilometres of pistes and the legendary Hahnenkamm-Streif transform the Alpine town into the centre of the ski world. In summer, the mountains belong to hikers, bikers and all those who want to relax in the tranquillity of the Kitzbühel Alps.

But Kitzbühel is also rich away from the slopes. A picturesque old town with elegant boutiques and quaint cafés, the Schwarzsee, the warmest swimming lake in the Alps, the Kitzbühel Museum with works by Alfons Walde – probably the most famous painter of the Tyrolean mountains – and the vibrant après-ski life that makes the evening as unforgettable as the day. Summer or winter, Kitzbühel leaves no one indifferent.

The Kitzbühel train station is right next to the HENRI – 50 metres on foot, that's all it takes. From Salzburg you can be there in around two hours, from Munich in around two and a half, from Innsbruck in one and a half. If you prefer to spend the night on the train rather than on the motorway, take the Nightjet – and arrive refreshed.

It takes around two hours from Munich, one hour from Salzburg and one and a half hours from Innsbruck. The route leads via the A8 or A12 motorway, exit Kufstein Süd, then via the B178 and B161 directly to Kitzbühel. Please note: You will need a vignette for Austrian motorways. Parking spaces at the hotel are limited – please reserve when booking.
