Sustainability at HENRI Hotels:
Embedded in the small things

For us, sustainability means making many small, concrete decisions rather than making grand promises. We avoid single-use soap and use refillable dispensers, rely on LED lighting, and source products from suppliers in the hotel’s local region. We have our progress independently audited on a regular basis and have been awarded the GreenSign certification.

We are GreenSigned

Our HENRI hotels in Hamburg, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Vienna and Kitzbühel have been awarded a GreenSign certificate. The aim of GreenSign is to "accompany companies on their way to sustainable management and to certify their status". We would like to thank everyone who made this possible!

Hey, honey!

Did you know? Our HENRI shops sell honey that used to be produced on the roof of the HENRI Hotel Berlin. The bees now need a bit more space and have had to move, but you can still find the fair honey here. We also think: Refilling is better than throwing away! That's why HENRI offers soap dispensers and pretty to-go cups.

Energy with a sense of proportion

Energy is a precious commodity. We at HENRI Hotels also want to do our bit to save energy. That is why our sauna in Hamburg and Düsseldorf does not run non-stop, but is heated up at your request. We clean your room every two days during your stay. Of course, your bed will still be made every day.
